Wow. Cavemen is just getting panned by reviewers. Of course, those same reviewers are also panning CSI and Pushing Daisies, so you can tell how much thoughtful criticism is going into their viewing with just that.

I am finding the show amusing, overall. There are a few places that are just not funny to me -- the set-ups seem forced and trying too hard to go for the joke -- but overall, there are any number of amusing bits in each episode, and it seems to me the show is getting better each episode, the writers slowly finding its legs.

Much of the criticism I've seen is that the show is "not funny in any way", "irrelevant", and "doesn't make any sense". Since you would have to be watching the show with a bag on your head for any of that to be true, I've come up with a theory: Cavemen is unfunny and sucks only if you are a cluelessly affluent white male from the East Coast.

(Or if you're a critic. Because, honestly, critics suck. I've never known a single critic worth taking the time to listen to, which is why I never bother reading or watching media reviews.)
